Auditions

CTM auditions are open to the public.  We are always looking for talented, passionate children and adults from all walks of life to participate in our professional-quality, family-friendly productions at the Overture Center in Madison, WI.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact us auditions@ctmtheater.org or 608.255.2080.

Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse

Back by popular demand, we bring to center stage the work of local author and Caldecott Medal award winner, Kevin Henkes. This rollicking production is full of whimsy, imagination and fun. Join Lilly, Queen of Everything, and her mouse friends Chester and Wilson in wild adventures as they explore Mr. Slinger’s Light Lab and discover the value of friendship..

Audition Dates: Saturday, March 10 from 4:30 - 7:30 pm; Sunday, March 11 from 5:30 - 8:30 pm; Monday, March 12 - evening callbacks.

Audition Location: 78 North Byran Street, Madison, WI 53714.  show on map

Performance/Rehearsal Dates: Performances are May 5th - 20th at Overture Center Playhouse.  Rehearsals begin on March 26th.

Roles: Up to 12 children with primary characters Lilly (girl age 7-12,) Chester, Wilson and Victor (boy age 7-12),  and Julius (boy age 6-10).  Five adult roles; mother, father, grammy, Mr. Slinger and salesperson.
