Summer Drama School  THREE WEEK SESSIONS
Ages 10 – 16  Young performers train under theater professionals in voice, acting and movement. All sessions meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm for two weeks and from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm the final week.  Performances are held on the final Thursday and Friday evening.  Tuition: $725, except $500 for River Valley Arts Center session.

• HONK, JR.  June 24 - July 12
  Music by George Stiles / Book and Lyrics by Anthony Drewe
  Honk! is a comic contemporary retelling of the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale The Ugly Duckling. From the barnyard to the pond, Ugly takes a journey of discovery that introduces him to wacky characters, wild adventures, and acceptance! An enchanting and whimsical musical for all ages.
  
• CINDERELLA  July 15 - August 2 This class is FULL

• PETER PAN (Non-Musical)  July 29 - August 16
  Adapted from the stories of J. M. Barrie
  Lost Boys and ticking crocodiles, Tinkerbell and Wendy, Captain Hook and Pirates! This nonmusical visit to Neverland will be full of adventure and heart. For everyone who has longed to run away and never grow up.

  Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world-famous candy man comes to life in this musical adaptation of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Memorable songs include “The Candy Man,” “Pure Imagination,” and “Oompa Loompa.” Tuition: $500*

  Before there was Glee, there was Fame! Set in New York City’s celebrated High School for the Performing Arts, this inspiring story explores the challenges and celebrates the triumphs of being young. Tuition: $725

FIND YOUR LIGHT!  TWO-WEEK MUSICAL THEATER INTENSIVE**
Ages 14 and up Led by acclaimed teachers Andrew Abrams and Gail Becker, this musical theater workshop is for intermediate and advanced performers. Improve your singing and dance audition skills, perfect a solo piece, perform in an ensemble, explore the history & structure of Broadway musicals, learn dance routines from Broadway musicals and more!  Classes meet Monday - Friday from 10 am to 4:30 pm at CTM's studios. • Advanced (Audition Only) / August 5 - 16

Auditions for Advanced Programs will be held Sunday May 12th 6-8pm, and Monday May 13th 6-8pm at the CTM Studio 228 State St. Madison, WI 53703
Please prepare 2 contrasting musical theatre pieces, 1 minute each. Have your music memorized, in a 3 ring binder, and in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Send us an email requesting an audition slot to gailbeckerstudio@gmail.com.

**This program is a partnership between CTM and Entr’acte - an organization founded by Andrew Abrams and Gail Becker Koppa to help young performers advance their musical theater skills as they grow into adulthood.

THEATER WEEK  ONE-WEEK SESSIONS
Ages 9 - 14. These programs introduce young performers to acting, movement, vocal techniques, stage combat and technical theater.  Our Teaching Artists lead classes every morning and rehearse the performance project in the afternoon.  Each session is led by a different Teaching Artist with Guest Artists introducing new skills daily.  These weeks are designed for students who are new to the theater as well as those with previous experience.  Family and friends are invited to the informal presentation on the last day of class. Classes meet Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 am at the Overture Center.  Tuition: $325

• Theater Week I: July 15 - 19 Curtain Going Up!  This class is FULL
