CTM's Teaching Artists
Many of CTM’s Teaching Artists are working theater professionals who are passionate about sharing their skills with young performers. They create a fun and supportive environment for the beginner, and challenge the seasoned performer. Tammy Moschea
Tammy is a familiar face at CTM, teaching acting and movement classes. She received a BFA in performance from Milliken University in Illinois. Since 2005, she has worked as educator, director and choreographer at numerous schools in the Madison area. She has also performed in Madison with CTM and The Madison Rep.
Andrew Abrams
Originally from Madison, Andrew has spent the last 9 years living in New York City. He has worked as a musical director/conductor, composer, Equity actor and a voice teacher. He has been on faculty at NYU, Pace University of and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Andrew was trained at the UW-Madison in classical voice but has since become a leading musical theater voice teacher in New York working with Broadway performers as well as many college-aged students. Andrew's student, Dan Fogler, just won a Tony Award for Best Supporting Actor in "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." His musical "but I'm a Cheerleader," for which he wrote the music, is being optioned for an Off-Broadway to Broadway run within the coming months. Gail Becker Koppa
Born and raised in a suburb west of Chicago, now living in Madison, Wisconsin, Gail has a solid and perpetuating entertainment career in the Midwest. She has been a Cabaret Singer and Actress for over 20 years, and also enjoys directing and choreographing musicals. In addition to her private vocal performance studio, Gail works independently as a Musical Theatre Director. Most recently she musically directed Annie for Stoughton Village Players and looks forward to Brigadoon for Oregon Straw Hat Players in the summer of 2012. Lisa Gabriella Pantano
Lisa attended Carnegie Mellon University for voice, piano and drama and graduated Salutatorian of her class from the prestigious Eastman School of Music for Vocal Performance. Ms. Pantano has performed in operas, recitals, theatrical and musical theater performances throughout the United States, Italy and Canada. Her choral group, the Bel Canto Singers of Wisconsin made its Carnegie Hall debut in November of 2006. Lisa has taught voice, speech, drama and piano in New York City, Pittsburgh, PA, Rochester, NY, Italy, and in Madison.
Jody Reiss
Jody, a professional actress, performed with the Irondale Ensemble Project in New York City, toured Russia with the Irondale Ensemble production of Uncle Vanya, and performed at Riker’s Island Prison. Jody brought intergenerational productions to schools in New Jersey and New York state, and taught group dynamics, spontaneity, and trust in theater programs in New York schools. Currently, she teaches acting in many arts programs in the Madison area and performed with Madison Rep.
Jeff Skubal
Jeff has choreographed movement and fight sequences for many local theaters and high schools. He earned his BS in Theater and Drama at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has performed onstage and as a Motion Capture artist. Jeff has taught stage combat at CTM and staged action for its mainstage productions for several years.
