History
As CTM approached its fortieth anniversary, the company continued to draw top-notch talent to take on
starring roles. In 2000, CTM received critical acclaim for The Sound of Music featuring international opera star
Marianne Cornetti as Mother Abbess. Ms. Cornetti has been called "one of the most exciting Verdi voices to
be heard today." The next year, CTM welcomed Equity actor Baron Kelly and Metropolitan Opera star Kitt
Reuter-Foss in The King and I in the Oscar Mayer Theater. In 2004, Mr. Kelly returned to play King Arthur in
CTM's Camelot. Accompanying him were professional singer/actress Kathryn Amyotte as Guenevere and
Cheers star George Wendt as Merlin, as well as new and veteran CTM performers. Back to timeline.
